The state-run Iranian TV channel Press TV on Twitter published the video, which captures the moment of the strike on the US airbase in Iraq.
On the night of Wednesday, January 8, the American base in Iraq Ein al-Assad was subjected to missile attacks. The airstrikes also targeted at least one other US facility in Northern Iraq. The Pentagon has confirmed that airstrikes were subjected to two facilities in Iraq that are used by the US military.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the missile strikes. The airstrikes were revenge for the murder of the head of the Iranian Special Forces “al-Quds” General Qasem Suleimani, who died on January 3 after a missile strike by the US military at the airport in Baghdad.
