Published a recording of conversations between Poroshenko and Biden about a billion-dollar bribe

People’s Deputy of Ukraine Andriy Derkach on May 19 published audio files that, in his opinion, may indicate the influence of the former Vice President of the United States — and today the only candidate for the White House chair from the Democrats-Joseph Biden on the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. The MP received a recording, allegedly made by Poroshenko himself, from investigative journalists.

— We will publish recordings of telephone conversations with voices similar to those of Petro Poroshenko and Joseph Biden, testifying to the facts of international corruption and state treason at the highest state level, – Derkach said during an online conference in the Interfax-Ukraine Agency.

According to the MP, there are recordings of conversations about the activities of the gas company in Ukraine, Burisma Holdings, a member of the Board of Directors of which was Biden’s son. Biden allegedly offered $ 1 billion in aid in exchange for keeping the company’s operating schemes and firing attorney General Viktor Shokin, who was investigating Burisma at the time and went out to the US Vice President.
On December 3, 2015, the head of the State Department, John Kerry, allegedly called Poroshenko on behalf of Biden on this issue.

“I would like to encourage you to consider the possibility of solving the problem of replacing the Prosecutor General Shokin, since he, in my opinion, blocked the reform of the Prosecutor General’s office,” Kerry says.
Another recording — a conversation between Biden and Poroshenko-is dated March 22, 2016, shortly before the dismissal of Viktor Shokin.

“If you have a new government and a new attorney general, I will be ready to sign a $ 1 billion commitment publicly,” Biden says.

“Powerful motivation. One of the possible candidates for this position was the leader of my faction Lutsenko. If you think that a politically motivated person is not quite appropriate from your point of view, I withdraw my offer. No one knows what I’m going to offer Lutsenko”, — Poroshenko allegedly responsible.

Derkach said that all materials were transferred to the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

The story about the gas company of Biden’s son and the dismissal of ex-Prosecutor General Shokin sounded in the media last fall because of a conversation between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky. It mentioned the son of former US Vice President and Trump’s rival in the upcoming election, Joe Biden. Shokin then led the case of Burisma, which was accused of money laundering. After this conversation, Trump was accused of trying to influence Zelensky to reopen the claim against Burisma in Ukraine. The White House released a transcript of the talks. Because of the scandal with this conversation, even launched the impeachment procedure for Trump, but it did not take place.

Later, the media wrote that Shokin complained of pressure from the United States. Petro Poroshenko claimed that Biden did not press him about Shokin’s resignation.
