The grandson of the British Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Cambridge William accused the Duchess of Sussex Meghan of “kidnapping her brother”. This is written by British historian and biographer Robert Lacey in the new book “Battle of the brothers: William and Harry-friendship and enmity”, an excerpt from which is cited by The Sun.
According to Lacey, Prince William is convinced that Meghan Markle is following a secret plan to “kidnap” his brother Prince Harry from the family and turn him against his relatives. In addition, the Duke of Cambridge accused her of ” undermining some of the precious principles of the monarchy.”
Lacey also mentioned that William feels “hurt and betrayed”, and his wife Kate Middleton “from the very beginning was afraid of Markle.” After learning about this, Prince Harry was offended by his brother and stopped answering his calls.
Kensington Palace declined to comment on the writer’s claims.
Earlier in June, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex came in second and third place in a survey of the most respected establishment figures. According to the results of the survey, the most respected among young people is Queen Elizabeth II, who received 25 percent of the vote. In second place was Prince Harry with 22 percent, and third place was taken by his wife Meghan Markle, who was preferred by 21 percent of respondents.
