Preliminary analysis of the Ukrainian airliner’s black boxes has been completed in France

A Ukrainian International airlines plane was shot down by Iranian forces on January 8.

An international group to study the black boxes of the Ukrainian plane shot down by Iran has completed a preliminary analysis of data in France, according to the Canadian transport safety Council.

“The work in Paris is complete, but the investigation is far from complete. There are still many key questions that need to be answered, ” said Council Chairwoman Katie Fox.

The analysis was carried out by the French Bureau for investigation and analysis of civil aviation safety. Fox did not specify that the results of the analysis established it.

Iran said its forces accidentally shot down a Ukrainian International airlines Boeing 737 plane on January 8, mistaking it for a missile amid heightened tensions with the United States.
