Pompeo to discuss cooperation in the field of nuclear energy with Czech Prime Minister

US Secretary of State travels to Central European countries.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, on Wednesday, the second day of his visit to Central Europe, will hold talks with Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babis in Prague.

Secretary of State Pompeo and Prime Minister Babis will discuss cooperation in the field of nuclear energy and the “Three Seas Initiative” – a political platform for developing ties between the countries of Central and Eastern Europe through support for infrastructure, energy, and digital projects.

The name of the initiative comes from three seas that wash the region: Baltic, Black, and Adriatic.

Later, Pompeo will deliver a speech in the Czech Senate on bilateral relations and foreign policy.
