In less than a month, the former Vice President’s advantage has increased from 1 percentage point to 6.
Leading Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has surreptitiously increased his lead over President Donald Trump among registered voters, although a rapidly spreading coronavirus has almost drowned out the former Vice President’s campaign.
According to a new joint poll by Reuters and the polling service Ipsos, 46 percent of 1,100 adult respondents said they would vote for Biden if he becomes trump’s opponent in the November 3 election.
The current President is ready to support 40 percent. The survey was conducted on March 30-31.
According to a similar poll conducted March 6-9, Biden’s advantage was only 1 percentage point.
