Police said the number of victims in the shooting in the American Austin

Thirteen people were injured in the shooting in the US Austin, Texas, no fatalities, said the head of the police of the city Joseph Chacon.

“I am pleased to report that at the moment there are no fatalities. We have two patients in critical condition. In total, 11 people were taken to one hospital, one person – to another hospital, another person sought urgent help with multiple gunshot wounds,” the head of the police said at a press conference. He added that at the moment the police are aware of a total of 13 victims.

He noted that the police have a description of the suspect.

“We have received a description of the suspect; it is not very detailed due to the chaotic nature of the events. The suspect is believed to be a thin black man dressed in black,” the police chief said.

The suspect’s motives have not yet been established, he said. “At this point, it’s not clear what caused this or why it happened,” Chacon said, noting that the FBI is involved in the investigation. The police asked witnesses of the events to contact law enforcement and send them all available videos of the events.
