Pence’s plane collided with a bird

The US Vice President was returning to the capital after a campaign event in New Hampshire.

The plane of US Vice President Mike Pence collided with a bird while taking off from an airport in New Hampshire, after which the pilot returned to the airport as a precaution, the White House said.

Pence was returning to Washington from a campaign event in Guilford, New Hampshire.

As flight two was taking off from the Manchester-Boston regional airport, it collided with a bird. A senior administration official said the Vice President and his entourage were not in any danger.
Pence returned to Washington on a different plane.
