Pence and his wife tested negative for coronavirus

WASHINGTON -Tests of Vice-President of the United States Mike Pence and his wife Karen Pence for the coronavirus gave a negative result, Pence’s spokeswoman Kathy Miller said.

“I am pleased to report that both the Vice President and second lady Karen Pence tested negative for COVID-19,” Miller said.

Pence is coordinating the White House’s efforts to combat the coronavirus. He agreed to do the analysis after the virus was confirmed in one of Pence’s staff, who, according to the White house, has not communicated directly with Pence recently.

Earlier, President Donald Trump passed a test for the coronavirus, and they found no signs of the virus.
