Pelosi invited Biden to address Congress on April 28

The President will address a joint session of both houses of Congress.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi invited President Joe Biden to address a joint session of Congress on April 28.

“Almost 100 days ago, when you took the oath of office, you enthusiastically expressed hope, promising that” help is on the way.” Now, thanks to your historical and revolutionary leadership, help is already here,” the speaker’s message to the president reads.

“I invite you to address a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, April 28, to share your vision for addressing the challenges and opportunities of this historic moment,” Nancy Pelosi added.

In February, Pelosi said she would invite Biden to speak after Congress passes a $1.9 trillion bill to help the economy hit by the coronavirus pandemic. Biden signed the bill into law on March 11.
