PayPal officially gives access to cryptocurrencies to its UK customers

Online payment system PayPal has officially allowed its UK customers to buy, store and sell cryptocurrencies.

This is the first PayPal extension outside the US to allow access to cryptocurrencies since October 2020. With their PayPal accounts, UK users of this online payment system can make any transactions with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash. They are also given access to extensive reference and educational information.

As a reminder, in March of this year, PayPal announced the Checkout with Crypto service, which allows American customers to use the above cryptocurrencies to pay at all PayPal-enabled stores.

In April, the company added the ability to buy and sell digital assets on its Venmo mobile online service.

In July, PayPal raised the digital asset purchase limit for its US customers to $ 100,000 per week, while simultaneously announcing that it would begin operations in the UK market in about a month. The promise has been fulfilled.
