Participants of the rally in support of Palestine blocked Second Avenue in New York

Law enforcement officers accompany the rally, but do not interfere with the actions of the demonstrators, who chant “Palestine will be free.”

Hundreds of demonstrators march along with one of the central streets of New York-Second Avenue in support of Palestine.

Demonstrators with Palestinian flags, who had previously gathered at the Israeli Permanent Mission to the UN in the city center, began a march to the north of the metropolis, completely blocking traffic on the roadway. The situation at the rally is calm, law enforcement officers accompany the rally, but do not interfere with the actions of the demonstrators, who chant “Palestine will be free.” Rallies in support of Palestine are currently held in New York almost daily and attract hundreds of people. Because of the mass marches of demonstrators, the police had to block several streets in Manhattan for a while last week, after which the protesters completely occupied one of the main squares of the city – Times Square. In New York, since the beginning of the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, it is increasingly possible to see drivers with Palestinian flags attached to their cars.
