Nickelodeon has repeatedly tried to revive the hit 90s and 00s series “RugRats” Over the past few years. Luckily for viewers, Paramount + will make this possible soon.
That the animated series “RugRats” will officially resume, it became known on the service panel as part of the TCA winter press tour the day before. It is reported that the previous cast will join the project, but the classic 2D animation, which has become its hallmark, will be replaced by more modern CG animation.
Elizabeth Daley, Nancy Cartwright, Cheryl Chase, Cree Summer and Kat Suzy are reportedly invited to work on the resumed show. The actors will again voice their characters: Tommy, Chucky, Angelica, Susie, and Phil and Leal. Producers from the original series, Eric Casemiro, Keith Boutilier and Rachel Lipman, will also return to the project. New faces to join the team include producers Dave Pressler and Casey Leonard.
Let us remind you that the animated series “RugRats” aired on Nickelodeon from 1990 to 2004. Critics and audiences highly acclaimed it. The project remained popular even after it closed, so Nickelodeon periodically reruns old episodes.
