Ottawa terminated the contract with Filip Chlapik

The National Hockey League (NHL) Ottawa Senators have cancelled the contract with Czech forward Filip Chlapik, according to the team’s website.

The decision to terminate the contract was made by agreement of the parties. The 23-year-old hockey player received unlimited free agent status.

Chlapik was selected by Ottawa in the 2015 NHL Draft under the overall number 48 and has played for the team since 2017. In total, the Czech has 57 league matches in which he scored 11 points (5 goals + 6 assists).
