The film “Nomadland” won the award in the categories “Best Picture,” “Best Actress,” and “Best Director.”

The American Academy of Motion Picture Arts has announced the names of the new Oscar winners. Film Award ceremony because of the pandemic was held for the first time in an updated format at several venues.

Best Supporting Actress-Yuh-jung Youn (“Minari”)

Best Supporting Actor-Daniel Kaluuya (“Judas and the Black Messiah”)

Best Original Screenplay – “Promising Young Woman”

Best Adapted Screenplay – “The Father”

Best Cinematographer – Eric Messerschmidt (“Mank”)

Best Original Song – “Fight for you” (“Judas and the Black Messiah”)

Best Animated Film – “Soul”

Best Foreign Feature Film – “Another Round

Best Costumes – “Ma Rainey’s Blackbottom”

Best Makeup and Hair – “Ma Rainey’s Blackbottom”

Best Visual Effects – “Tenet”

Best Short Feature Film – “Two Distant Strangers” Best documentary – “My Octopus Teacher.”
