Back in late May, OPPO introduced the Reno 6 5G smartphone. And now its new version has debuted – Reno 6 4G. In fact, in addition to supporting fifth generation networks, a lot has changed.
Externally, the new model is more similar to the recently presented Reno 6 Z. Although the screen here is the same as the Reno 6 5G – 6.4-inch AMOLED with FullHD + resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The main difference lies in the processor: the Snapdragon 720G came to replace the MediaTek Dimensity 900. Out of the box, the smartphone runs Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 shell instead of ColorOS 11.3.
In addition, the Reno 6 4G’s battery capacity has increased by an insignificant 10 mAh, while the charging speed has dropped from 65W to 50W. There is also a difference in cameras. So, the resolution of the front camera is not 32, but 44 MP. And the main camera includes four modules: 64 MP sensor, 8 MP wide-angle lens, 2 MP macromodule and 2 MP sensor for monochrome shots.
Also, the equipment of the smartphone includes 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of built-in memory, 3.5 mm headphone jack and NFC.
For now, Reno 6 4G is only available in Indonesia. Here it was estimated at $ 360 / € 305. Available in two colors: Aurora and Stellar Black.
