OPPO has held a global presentation of a new shell – ColorOS 11.
It is based on the Android 11 operating system and contains all its main features. In addition, the firmware received an updated interface and many proprietary changes. For example, ColorOS 11 added the ability to customize and create your own Always-On Display screensavers, wallpapers, fonts and icons.
In addition, the system has an updated dark theme with three shades of black, as well as the Three-Finger Translate and Flexdrop functions. The first allows you to take a screenshot with three fingers and immediately send it to Google Lens for translating text, and the second improves multitasking. For example, you can simultaneously read the text and watch the video in a separate window. Even with ColorOS 11, users will be able to quickly switch between different devices in the smart home system, controlling them through a special menu.
Also in ColorOS 11, it is worth noting the new Super Power Saving Mode, which allows you to select the six most important applications for working with low battery power and the Battery Guard function. It protects the battery in unstable voltage conditions. Battery Guard also replenishes the phone charge up to 80% during night charging and as soon as the user wakes up, it resumes the process.
OPPO will release ColorOS 11 for 28 smartphone models, including the Find, Reno, F, K and A series. Testing of the shell will be available from today. This will be able to do the owners of the flagships OPPO Find X2 Pro and OPPO Find X2 Pro in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and also in Egypt.
