Traditionally, each year, OnePlus releases flagships with numbers in the name, as well as a line with the prefix T. For example, this year it is OnePlus 9 (pictured) and the yet unannounced OnePlus 9T. The latter will be discussed.
The details were shared by one of the insiders, so so far this is only unconfirmed information. According to him, OnePlus 9T will be presented in the third quarter, that is, in the next few months. Last year’s OnePlus 8T was announced in October. But OnePlus 9T may be presented in September.
The smartphone is credited with a 108-megapixel camera with four modules, developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, and a ColorOS 11 shell. As a reminder, OnePlus yesterday announced the merger of its OxygenOS with the OPPO ColorOS shell. But OxygenOS will still be used for OnePlus phones around the world, ColorOS for OnePlus and OPPO devices in China.
According to early leaks, the OnePlus 9T will also receive an LTPO Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. As for the processor, the smartphone will most likely use the Snapdragon 888, as OnePlus is not among the companies to be among the first to launch devices with the new Snapdragon 888+.
In addition, several insiders at once confirm that the older OnePlus 9T Pro model will not be available this year.
