OnePlus has lowered the prices of the flagship smartphones OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.
All price tags are reduced by exactly $100. Now OnePlus 8 sells for $599 (8/128 GB) and $699 (12/256 GB). But the first version is only available in Glacial Green.
At the same time, OnePlus 8 Pro costs $899 (12/256 GB) and $799 (with 8 GB of RAM).
It looks like the price cut is due to the imminent release of the new flagship OnePlus 8T, although, according to rumors, it will not have a Pro version. It should receive a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED matrix with a picture refresh rate of 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 865 or Snapdragon 865+ processor, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of ROM and an L-shaped quad camera with 48 MP + 16 modules. Mp + 5 Mp + 2 Mp. The smartphone must be powered by a 4500 mAh battery. In addition, it will receive support for fast charging at 65 W and Android 11 OS with the new proprietary shell OxygenOS 11. The novelty will cost around 700-900 euros.
The official presentation of the OnePlus 8T is scheduled for October 14th.
