On Board the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt, three fell ill with coronavirus

Tests of three servicemen on Board the US aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt tested positive for coronavirus, acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas Modley said on Tuesday.

“Three cases of COVID-19 were identified among personnel aboard the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt. These are the first cases of COVID-19 on a ship on duty. These people have been quarantined and must be airlifted off the ship. In fact, they may already be taken off the ship today,” he said during an online conference.
