The Oklahoma City Thunder have secured point guard George Hill, attacking guard Darius Miller, a 2023 NBA draft first-round pick, and two second-round picks in a deal with the New Orleans Pelicans and Milwaukee Bucks, according to insider Adrian Wojnarowski.
Earlier, Oklahoma sent centre Stephen Adams to New Orleans. The Pelicans got from the Bucks point guard Eric Bledsoe. Milwaukee traded New Orleans point guard Jrue Holiday. Oklahoma City’s compensation remained unknown for some time. Eventually, Hill was sent to Thunder, who shot 46% of his three-pointers last season and became the NBA’s best scorer.
Recall, Oklahoma City has already parted ways with Chris Paul, Dennis Schroeder, Danilo Gallinari and Stephen Adams. Adams, with a salary of $ 27.5 million, was the last player on an expensive contract that Thunder wanted to be kicked off the payroll for a full-blown overhaul.
