After weeks of rumors and leaks, Vivo has announced the launch date for its first smartwatch.
According to the published poster on the social network Weibo, the Vivo Watch will debut on September 22. The event will take place in China at 19:30 local time.
The watch will hit the market in two versions. The youngest will receive a 42 mm case, and the older one will have a 46 mm one. According to the leaks, the device will have a round OLED display and standard mount straps. The watch is also credited with a sensor for measuring heart rate and SpO2, an NFC module for contactless payments, the ability to track sleep and various types of activities, as well as autonomy up to 18 days. The gadget will definitely not work on Wear OS. Most likely, it will be a special version of the proprietary Funtouch OS system. According to the latest information, Vivo Watch will be asked for $ 150.
By the way, OnePlus is now also working on its first smartwatch. Given that both companies are part of the BBK corporation, it can be assumed that the Vivo Watch and OnePlus Watch will look very similar in appearance.
