Officially: Realme is preparing to release the cheapest 5G smartphone

Realme has recently introduced many low-cost smartphones with 5G network support, but now it is going to release the cheapest device on the market.

The head of the Indian and European division, Madhav Sheth, spoke about this during an interview with India Today Tech. According to the CEO, the new product will cost about $ 95. For comparison, now one of the cheapest smartphones of the manufacturer with support for 5G is the Realme Q3i. They ask for it from $155.

The new smartphone will be part of the company’s strategy to expand its range of 5G devices. Unfortunately, the characteristics of the device are not yet available, but we can assume that it will run on a MediaTek processor.

The device is due to be announced in India this fall. It is possible that the novelty is also planned to be sold on the global market.
