Official list of Samsung devices that will receive Android OS updates within three years

We recently wrote that Samsung plans to support its devices for three years. Now the Korean manufacturer has published an official list of such devices. It consists of 38 models. We are talking about the flagships Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, top-end mid-budget smartphones Galaxy A, foldable devices, and tablets Galaxy Tab S.

  • Galaxy S Series: Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, S20 Ultra, S20 + 5G, S20 +, S20 5G, S20; S10 5G, S10 +, S10, S10e, S10 Lite
  • Galaxy Note Series: Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, Note 20 Ultra, Note 20 5G, Note 20; Note 10+ 5G, Note 10+, Note 10 5G, Note 10, Note 10 Lite
  • Galaxy A Series: Galaxy A71 5G, A71, A51 5G, A51, A90 5G
  • Foldable Galaxy smartphones: Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, Z Fold 2, Z Flip 5G, Z Flip, Fold 5G, Fold
  • Galaxy Tab S tablets: Galaxy Tab S7 + 5G, Tab S7 +, Tab S7 5G, Tab S7; Tab S6 5G, Tab S6, Tab S6 Lite

All of these devices will definitely receive Android 11 and Android 12, and some will even update to Android 13. By the way, in addition to the list, Samsung announced that the owners of the Galaxy S20 flagships should expect a stable version of Android 11 by the end of the year. The beta version of the system is already being tested.
