Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Khabib Nurmagomedov entered the top three highest-paid fighters of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC).
According to the publication, the rating was topped by the Irish fighter Conor McGregor – he earned about $12 million in promotion. In second place is the Dutch athlete Alistair Overeem – his income amounted to $8.7 million. Nurmagomedov came in third with 8.6 million. The ranking took into account only royalties from the UFC – without sponsorship deals and other sources of income.
Nurmagomedov is the reigning UFC lightweight champion. The fighter has 28 victories in 28 fights according to the MMA rules. The Russian will defend the organization’s lightweight belt on October 23 against American Justin Gaethje at UFC 254. The American is the interim UFC champion in this weight category.
