At the end of July, Nubia unveiled the Nubia Watch, a simplified version of the Nubia Alpha. They are already on sale in China and are now entering the international market.
The first to receive the watch will be customers who place an order on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. The campaign was a success and the deliveries will begin on 8 October. The first batch of watches was sold for about $200.
But, as it turned out, Nubia Watch will also appear in the public sale on the global market. This will happen in October, but when exactly is still unknown. It is expected that in retail they will cost much more – in the region of $400.
Recall that in China the gadget costs $220. The Nubia Watch boasts a flexible 4.01-inch AMOLED display and a case that’s made from aluminum alloy and 316L stainless steel. Under the hood of the device is a Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip. The watch also has NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, and e-SIM support. The gadget is able to track activity, measure heart rate, and monitor sleep. The Nubia Watch is powered by a 420 mAh battery. It, according to the company, is enough for 36 hours of device operation.
