Notre Dame in New York: a man wanted to set fire to a local Cathedral in the USA

There was quite a crazy story: the police detained a local figure, who apparently was going to burn the main city Cathedral in New York.

According to the surveillance cameras, this man stopped near the Gothic Cathedral of St. Patrick, took out of the car two cans of gasoline and went straight to the Church.

At the entrance, the guard told him not to carry large objects inside. Only then, I realized that it is not just objects, but canisters with gasoline. The guard detained the visitor and called the police, who conducted a search. The 37-year-old visitor found a special liquid for making fires and several lighters.

Since this happened immediately after the fire in Notre Dame de Paris, the man was detained and sent to the station. According to investigators, he was going to set fire to the main Church of New York.

The detainee said that was just going to carry through the Cathedral of the cans on another street. He had a car there that ran out of gas. In fact, there was gasoline in his car, so his actions look even more suspicious.
