Norway will impose sanctions against Russia on Navalny after the EU

Norway will join the steps of the European Union on anti-Russian sanctions due to the situation with Alexei Navalny, Free News reports with reference to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of the kingdom.

As part of the global regime for human rights violations, the European Union has activated a sanctions mechanism against four Russians for the arrest of Navalny.

“Norway joins the EU decision and will introduce measures identical to the EU sanctions,”

the Norwegian Foreign Ministry said.

On March 1, Washington announced a list of Russian officials to whom the restrictions initiated by the American side will be applied.

The introduction of an almost similar package of measures on the same day was announced in the European Union.
