North Korea is concerned about Kim Jong-Un’s weight loss

The state of health of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un “breaks the hearts of the people,” a resident of Pyongyang said on state television. This is reported by the Daily Mail.

According to the publication, North Korean television unexpectedly showed a story in which a North Korean says that “the sight of our esteemed Secretary-General looking exhausted breaks the hearts of the people.” “Everyone says how they immediately started crying,” he added.

According to analysts, such a plot indicates that the DPRK authorities are trying to use the weight loss of the head of the country to strengthen loyalty to him in difficult times.

“Pyongyang is sending a message that Kim Jong-Un is a leader who works very hard for the sake of his citizens and to the extent that he eats little and loses weight. And the regime wants the world to think that North Koreans also care about their leader and cry because of his thinness,” they say.

In early June, Kim Jong-Un appeared in public for the first time in a month. The footage showed that the leader of the DPRK had lost a lot of weight, which provoked rumors about his illness.
