North Korea has tested a new tactical guided weapon

In North Korea, in the presence of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, tactical guided weapons of a new type were tested, the Central Telegraph Agency of Korea reports.

What kind of weapons in question, the publication is not specified. However, the Agency notes that during the tests, its projected indicators were checked, which were “highly appreciated for the special method of flight guidance and a powerful warhead”. Where the tests were not reported.
Kim Jong-Un called the completion of the development of weapons “very significant” event to strengthen the army.

Since the completion of the second summit of North Korean and US leaders Kim Jong-Un and Donald Trump in Vietnam’s Hanoi, this is the first test that Pyongyang has publicly announced. At the same time, the testing of tactical weapons does not pose a threat to the United States territory, unlike the testing of long-range ballistic missiles.

In March, the American edition National Public Radio reported that North Korea in the near future is preparing to launch a rocket, possibly space. The publication referred to satellite images of the American company DigitalGlobe object Sanumdong, on which North Korea has collected some of its Intercontinental ballistic missiles.
