North American sports leagues shut down media access to locker rooms

As stated in the statement of the sports leagues of North America, which is published on the NHL website, after consultation with specialists in the fight against infectious diseases and doctors, all club locker rooms and facilities in these leagues will be available only to athletes and key team employees. It is noted that communication between journalists and players will be made in specially equipped places outside the locker rooms or clubrooms. These changes take effect from games and practices on Tuesday.

According to a count by Johns Hopkins University, the number of cases of infection with the new coronavirus in the United States has exceeded 700, killing 26 people.
