Nord Stream 2 AG informed the partners about the sufficiency of funding

Nord Stream 2 AG, the operator of the “Nord stream-2” project, has notified its European partners of the adequacy of the financing provided for the project, said Tilo Wieland, a member of the Wintershall Dea Management Board responsible for the company’s activities in Russia, Latin America, as well as for gas transportation projects.

“We have indeed committed to providing funding for 950 million euros until today we have provided 730 million, and the project organization has informed us that these funds are sufficient,” Wieland said during a round table organized by the company.

He did not comment on the timing of the project but stressed the confidence of Wintershall Dea in its completion.
