The new password manager app is now available and allows users to access and manage their iCloud passwords on Windows computers. They can add, edit, copy and paste, delete, or search for any usernames or passwords stored in the iCloud keychain.
Given the fact that in the fall, iCloud Keychain will have full support for generating one-time passwords (OTP) for sites with two-factor authentication (2FA), such a solution can become an excellent alternative to paid password managers.
Plus, with the iCloud for Windows app, users can keep their photos up to date across all devices, including PCs. They can also create shared albums and invite other users to add their photos, videos and comments.
To install iCloud for Windows, users need Windows 10, version 18362.145 or higher, or Windows 11.
Today iCloud for Windows includes the following Apple services:
- ICloud Photo
- iCloud Drive
- ICloud passwords
- ICloud Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Bookmarks
You can download iCloud for Windows completely free from the link in the Microsoft Store. To work correctly in the Edge and Chrome browsers, you will need to install the appropriate plugins.
