New MacBook Air will be in colors like iMac and M2 processor

We have already written more than once that Apple is working on an updated MacBook Air. Now information has appeared on the network when the new product will be released.

An insider under the nickname Dylandkt said that the laptop is planned to be announced in the first half of 2022. It will run on the new M2 ARM processor. The chip will be a continuation of the current generation M1 and will be based on the mobile A15 Bionic SoC.

In turn, the M1X, which is credited with the new MacBook Pro, will be an improved version of the M1 with more CPU and GPU cores.

Recall that the next MacBook Air is also credited with an updated design. The laptop will receive a metal case that will be thinner and lighter, a new keyboard, smaller bezels around the screen and two USB-C ports (one on each side). The device will hit the market in colors like the new iMac.
