New iPod touch showed on renders

Rumor has it that this year Apple will unveil an updated iPod touch to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first iPod. Insiders have published renders of the new model, which, however, may differ from the final product.

Definitely, the rendered gadget is different from the 7th generation iPod touch, which debuted in 2019. The new model has thinner bezels and flatter edges like the iPhone 12, no notch like the iPad Pro, and a white bezel reminiscent of the new 2021 iMac.

There is no Home button, but there are two cameras – the main one and the front one. Most likely, Face ID is not worth waiting for, but perhaps a fingerprint scanner will be built into the power button.

What changes will take place inside is still unknown.
