New 12.9-inch iPad Pro repairs cost as good as new iPhone 12 mini

Recently, Apple opened the acceptance of pre-orders for the new iPad Pro, and at the same time announced the prices for the tablet repair.

Recall that Apple introduced two versions of the iPad Pro with 11- and 12.9-inch screens, which switched to proprietary M1 chips. But all attention is focused on the older model, which features a mini-LED display.

So, it’s better not to break the iPad Pro, since the cost of repairing it “bites” – $699. Exactly the same is the price of a brand new iPhone 12 mini smartphone. This price tag applies to any damage to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, including a broken display.

By the way, this is $50 more than the cost of repairing the previous model. This is probably due to the use of a mini-LED display.

At the same time, the 11-inch tablet will cost $499 to repair, which is the same price as the previous models.

Post-warranty repairs will cost significantly less if you have an AppleCare‌ + subscription – only $49 for both cases.
