About 47% of US residents support the idea that the country, Republican Donald Trump, put forward his candidacy for the presidential election in 2024. This is evidenced by a survey published on Monday, conducted jointly by the Hill newspaper and the Harris Research service.
According to the publication, this point of view is mainly held by supporters of the Republicans – 75% of the number of respondents who support this particular party. Only 24% of the survey participants support the Democratic Party.
The survey was conducted from November 17 to 19. 1,873 registered voters attended it. The statistical margin of error is about 2.26 percentage points.
On November 9, the Axios information portal, citing sources, reported that Trump is considering running for President again in 2024. According to it, the Republican told his advisers that he was studying such a possibility. Other American media later reported this.
