NBA: Utah and Portland lose superstars to injury

According to insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Utah Jazz attacking guard Donovan Mitchell suffered a sprained right ankle in the NBA regular season match with the Indiana Pacers (109: 101).

Mitchell underwent a negative x-ray. The player avoided an ankle fracture. Shortly, an MRI examination will occur, after which the timing of Mitchell’s recovery will become known. The likelihood that Mitchell was seriously injured and dropped out for a long time is not very high.

Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damien Lillard missed an away match with the San Antonio Spurs (107: 106) with a right hamstring injury. Lillard’s participation in Sunday’s match with the Charlotte Hornets and further games is still in question.
