One of the former hosts of the television show “Mythbusters” Grant Imahara died from a brain aneurysm. This was reported on July 14 by the Hollywood Reporter.
“He was an important part of our Discovery family and a truly wonderful person. Our thoughts and prayers appeal to his family, ” a representative of Discovery Channel told the publication.
Imahara was born on October 23, 1970, in Los Angeles. He studied electrical engineering at the University of Southern California and later worked at Home THX (a division of LucasFilm), where he participated in the creation of three episodes of Star Wars, Matrix, and Terminator.
In 2005, Imahara joined the team of Mythbusters and participated in the project until 2014, where he worked in electronics and developed robots. In 2016, he and other former hosts launched the White Rabbit Project on Netflix.
