Motorola on August 5 at a presentation in China presented not only the flagship Edge S Pro, but also the Edge Lite model.
The device is very similar to the Motorola Edge 20, which debuted in Europe last week. The smartphone received a glass body with a weight of 163 grams and a thickness of only 6.9 mm. According to the company, it is one of the thinnest and lightest 5G smartphones on the market. The novelty is equipped with a 6.67-inch 10-bit OLED display with a hole, FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The panel supports HDR10 + and DC Dimming technology.
Under the hood, the novelty is powered by an eight-core Snapdragon 778G processor paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. As for the cameras, there are four of them in the smartphone: a single front one with 32 MP and a triple main one with 108 MP + 8 MP (telephoto with 3x) and 16 MP (wida-angle). By the way, the wide-angle module of the smartphone can be used for macro shots. The Motorola Edge Lite is powered by a 4020mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. The novelty also has a side fingerprint scanner. The device comes with MYUI 2.0 shell and Moto Actions functions.
Motorola Edge 20 will go on sale in China on August 17th. The smartphone will start at $400.
