Motorola held an event in India to unveil its new Edge 20 smartphone.
The new product was named Motorola Edge 20 Fusion. Externally and in terms of characteristics, it is very similar to the Motorola Edge 20 Lite, which entered the global market a couple of weeks ago. The main difference between Edge 20 Fusion is the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor (instead of Dimensity 720). The chip is built using a 7-nanometer process technology and has a built-in 5G modem, as well as two Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of 2.0 GHz.
Otherwise, the smartphone is exactly the same as the Motorola Edge 20 Lite. It was equipped with an IP52 case, a large 6.7-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a triple main camera with 108 MP + 8 MP + depth sensor, a single front camera with 32 MP, a side fingerprint scanner, and a 5000 mAh battery. … It supports 30W fast charging. The novelty comes with the Android 11 operating system and a proprietary interface.
Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will go on sale in India on 28 August. The device is unlikely to appear in Europe.
