More than 32 thousand soldiers of the national guard of the United States participate in the fight against riots

More than 32,000 US National Guard soldiers are involved in fighting the riots, the guard said on Twitter.

“As of this morning, more than 75,000 guardsmen are involved in local operations across the United States, including more than 32,400 who help law enforcement protect people’s lives, preserve property, peace, and public safety”

US President Donald Trump is at odds with the governors of some states, demanding that they deploy the National Guard to fight the riots.

A wave of protests and riots swept through US cities after the death of an African-American man, George Floyd, at the hands of police in Minneapolis. One of the police officers who detained him, who put his knee on Floyd’s neck, was charged with murder, while three others were accused of conspiracy.
