More than 100,000 migrants crossed the US border from Mexico in February

This is the highest figure since mid-2019.

In February, US border guards met with 100,441 migrants at the border with Mexico.

This was announced by Troy Miller, acting head of the US Customs and Border Protection Service.

This is the highest monthly figure since a significant surge at the border in mid-2019.

According to Miller, more than 19,000 of these migrants were families, about 9,500 were unaccompanied minors, and the rest were individual adults.

Representatives of the service reported that the statistics take into account repeated border crossings.
