Xiaomi is actively pushing the theme of the global version of the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced firmware. Last week, the company announced the software itself and published a list of smartphones that will receive the update first. It included nine models, but now the list has increased to 11 devices.
The list has been replenished with two smartphones of the POCO brand. Both represent the flagship segment. We are talking about POCO F2 Pro and POCO F3 based on SoCs Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 870, respectively. Note that both models originally appeared in the unofficial list, but they were not mentioned in the announcement of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced.
The release dates of the update have not changed. Smartphones will start receiving an optimized version of the firmware in the fourth quarter of 2021. It is possible that out of the box, Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro will already work on MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. By the way, the same shell will be installed on the next-generation flagship smartphone Xiaomi 12, which is also expected to premiere in the fourth quarter of this year.
