Monica Bellucci as a witch on the set of a movie in Rome

56-year-old Monica Bellucci is currently filming “The Befana Comes at Night 2”, filmed in Rome. Yesterday, the paparazzi got on the set of the picture and filmed the star in the image of her heroine.

In the film, Bellucci plays the kind witch Dolores, who devotes her life to children. Make-up and appropriate clothing helped Monica transform into her character’s image: the star tried on a grey wig, a historical costume and armed herself with a broom.

In this form, it was clearly not easy for Monica to act – in Italy now, it is quite warm and sunny, so the star often took breaks and now and then came up to the make-up artists so that they would touch up her makeup.

The film is a sequel to Michele Soavi’s The Witch Comes at Night, released in 2018. Bellucci did not take part in it. Monica’s colleagues were Italian actors Zoe Massenti, Fabio De Luigi, Luciano Luigi, Alessandro Aber and others.

Filming for the prequel started on March 1, but the film is expected to premiere later this year.

While Bellucci continues to delight fans with new works, their 16-year-old daughter Virgo, with Vincent Cassel, is increasingly declaring himself. True, she has not yet followed in her parents’ footsteps and is starting her career in the fashion world. Judging by her success, Virgo may well pretend to become one of the world’s most popular models.
