Minnesota coach retired after the defeat to New York

Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Ryan Sanders has been relieved of his duties, according to the official website of the National Basketball Association (NBA) club.

Minnesota played their last game under Sanders on Sunday and lost to the New York Knicks 99: 103 (18:30, 32:31, 26:21, 28:16). This defeat was for the “wolves” 24th in 31 matches held in the regular season.

Minnesota’s new head coach will be announced on Monday, February 22nd. According to The Athletic journalist Shams Charania, it will be Toronto’s assistant coach Chris Finch. Charania’s sources say it is a multi-year contract.
