Ming-Chi Kuo: the new iPhone SE will be the cheapest Apple smartphones with 5G

We have already written more than once that Apple plans to release an updated iPhone SE. This has now been confirmed by Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

According to Kuo, the next iPhone SE shouldn’t be expected anytime soon. If all goes according to plan, he will be released in the first half of 2022. The device will be the cheapest Apple smartphone, which will be equipped with a modem with support for the fifth generation (5G) network.

As for the appearance, it will not change. iPhone SE 2022 will get a design in the style of iPhone 8. The smartphone is credited with a 4.7-inch display with large bezels, a Touch ID fingerprint scanner and an updated processor. Which one is still unknown, but it can be assumed that it will be Apple A14 Bionic.

By the way, according to rumors, Apple is also working on an iPhone SE Plus model with a design similar to the iPhone 11, a 6-inch LCD screen, 5G and a side scanner. Such a device can be released in 2023.
