Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared new details about the cameras of the iPhone 13 line of smartphones.

The top models of the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will receive an updated wide-angle camera module. Unlike current models, it will support autofocus. This will create sharper and sharper images. The new sensor is also credited with a 7P lens and an f / 1.8 aperture. For comparison, in the current line of iPhone 12 wide-angle camera has an aperture of f / 2.4.

By the way, in addition to the new wide-angle sensor, the iPhone 13 models will also receive improved low-light shooting. As for the periscope camera, you shouldn’t expect it in smartphones. Such a module is planned to be added to the iPhone only in 2023.
