Ming-Chi Kuo: iPhone 13 lineup will include 4 models, we are waiting for the previous design and an improved wide-angle lens

Apple just unveiled the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max smartphones, and details of the new iPhone 13 line are already popping up online, which will debut next fall. Authoritative analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared his predictions.

According to him, four models will again enter the new line. Given the current names, new items can be called the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. In terms of design and size, they will also not differ from current smartphones.

But the manufacturer will pump the cameras. In particular, for the Pro versions, the analyst predicts an ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a six-element lens (6P), and an autofocus system. Recall that current devices from the iPhone 12 series are equipped with ultra-wide-angle f/2.4 lenses with five elements and a fixed focus.

Most likely, Largan Precision will supply such sensors: the company is expected to receive about 70% of parts orders.

According to early rumors, the iPhone 13 will also receive a new A15 chip, 120Hz ProMotion screens, a redesigned monobrow, and 5G modems.
