Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo wrote another note to investors in which he shared details about Apple’s first foldable smartphone.

So, according to new analyst forecasts, Apple will release its foldable iPhone in 2023. Kuo credits the new product with an 8-inch flexible OLED display with QHD+ resolution.

SDC will be the exclusive supplier of screens for the device. To increase the longevity of the panel, they plan to use a sensor with a silver nanowire. What this means is not yet clear.

By the way, Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that in 2023 Apple will be able to ship 15 to 20 million of these iPhones. That is, the analyst believes that with the release of the new product, the company will become the largest supplier of folding devices on the market.
